Zusammenfassung

Es wird eine einfache Methode zur Entlüftung der Aorta, um Luftembolien zu vermeiden, beschrieben. Hierzu wird um eine Stichinzision eine Tabaksbeutelnaht an der Aorta ascendens angelegt. Um einen größeren Blutverlust zu verhindern, wird das ausströmende Blut von einem »Schirm« abgefangen.

Summary

A simple method for removal of air from the aorta in order to avoid air embolism is described. A tobacco pouch suture is made around a stab incision on the ascending aorta. In order to avoid a considerable loss of blood, the escaping blood is caught by an “umbrella”.
